England beat India by 7 wickets in the final and decided T20I to win the three-match series 2-1. In this match played at County Ground in Bristol on Thursday night, Team India, batting first, set a target of 123 runs in 20 overs in front of the hosts. This score was achieved by England with 10 balls to spare and thus they captured the series. Let us tell you, England won the first match by 9 wickets, while in the second match, India came back strong and won by 8 wickets.

Talking about Bristol T20, England won the toss and asked India to bat first. The Indian batting appeared to be struggling after the failure of openers Smriti Mandhana (9) and Shefali Verma (5). Team India lost 5 wickets for 35 runs in the first 10 overs. After this, India managed to reach the score of 122 on the basis of the short but brilliant innings of Deepti Sharma (24), Richa Ghosh (33), and Pooja Vastrakar (19 *). Apart from these three, no Indian batter could cross the double figure. Sophie Ecclestone took the most three wickets for England.

The openers gave a good start to the England team chasing the target and added 70 runs for the first wicket. Danielle Wyatt made 22 while Sophia Dunkley scored 49 runs. Apart from these, Alice Capsi scored 38 not out. England did not face many difficulties in achieving this goal. Sneh Rana, Pooja Vastrakar, and Radha Yadav took one wicket each for India.

After losing the T20 series, India has to play an ODI series of equal numbers against England, which will start on 18 September. The other two matches of the series will be played on September 21 and 24.
