Harbhajan Singh has retired from cricket. He announced this on Friday. The 41-year-old off-spinner has played many memorable matches for Team India. While retiring, he has spoken of a new beginning. This includes 32 wickets including a hat-trick against Australia, besides the victories of the 2007 and 2011 ODI World Cups.

Team India won the three-match series 2-1 against Australia in 2001. Harbhajan Singh took 32 wickets in the series. Not only this, Team India had lost the first match of the series.
