Due to which Gambhir would not want to leave any stone unturned on the Australia tour. Meanwhile, Gambhir has taken a big decision before the Perth Test match and has sent Rituraj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan back to India from the team. Due to which both these players have suffered a big setback.
Both players returned to India
Rituraj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan had recently played in the series between Australia A and India A. After which it was believed that Rituraj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan could get a chance in place of injured Shubman Gill and both these players could be stopped in Australia itself.
But this did not happen and Gambhir did not include any of these two players in the team. At the same time, Gautam Gambhir has decided to include young batsman Devdutt Padikkal in the team.
