Indian players are showing their strength in the Commonwealth Games being played in Birmingham and are trying their best to win medals. This trend continued on Friday as well and it is expected that it will continue and medals will continue to come in India's bag. In athletics, women's 4x100m relay round-1 will be a quartet of Dutee Chand, Hima Das, Shrabani Nanda, and Simi Noorambalakal Samuel. This match will take place at 2:30 in the day. At the same time, Priyanka Goswami and Bhawna Jat of India will enter the finals of the women's 100m race walk. This match will also start at 2.30 pm.

In athletics itself, Abinash Sable of India will enter the final of the 3000m steeplechase. India's Sharmila, Santosh, and Poonam Sharma will enter the finals of the women's shot put F55-57 category. Both these matches will also start at 2.30 pm.

In wrestling, in the 76 kg weight category of women, Pooja Sihag will land on the mat.
