The schedule of the ICC World Cup 2023 has been announced. Team India is considered a strong contender for this World Cup to be held in India. The responsibility of sailing the Indian team will be on the shoulders of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement about Kohli-Rohit playing the last World Cup.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly said that the first or last World Cup does not matter, rather he believes in strong performances. I think Rohit-Kohli are 34 or 35, I don't know what will happen till the next World Cup. Every year now there are world-class tournaments – T20 cricket, 50-over cricket. It was not like this when we started. Every four years the World Cup and then the Champions Trophy used to come."

The former BCCI president further said, "In such a situation, the performance matters more and I think as captains, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will also want to perform strongly in this tournament." Due to Kovid, he could not enjoy the tournament earlier while being the president. What a great tournament this will be.

ICC has selected the best venue. No country has so many venues available like India. BCCI will organize this tournament in a way that the world will remember. Many congratulations to Jay Shah, Roger Binny, and all the officers and staff members.
