Indian team for the first test against Bangladesh: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the first Test to be played against Bangladesh from September 19. The BCCI has just announced the Indian team for the first Test match of the two-match series. Fast bowler Yash Dayal has been included in the Indian team for the first time. Jaspreet Bumrah has also not been given rest. He has been selected in the team for the first Test.

The men's selection committee has selected India's 16-member team for the first Test against Bangladesh. The Indian team has to play the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur from September 27. However, the team for the second Test has not been selected yet. Apart from the two-match Test series, a three-match T20 series will also be played between India and Bangladesh. The team has not been selected yet for this series as well.

16-man squad announced for the first test

The BCCI has announced a 16-member team for the first Test to be played in Chennai. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Sarfaraz Khan have also got a chance in this team. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer has not got a place in the team. Four spinners and four fast bowlers have been included in the 16-member team for the first Test against Bangladesh. There are a total of eight batsmen including two wicketkeepers. Left arm fast bowler Yash Dayal has joined the Indian team for the first time. He played for RCB in IPL 2024.
