Team India's opener and vice-captain KL Rahul played an international match on the Zimbabwe tour after February this year. He did not get a chance to bat in the first match of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe and was dismissed cheaply in the second match. In the last match of the series, Rahul scored 30 runs in 46 balls. Now the question is whether Rahul is fully prepared for the crucial match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022. Former New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris has given his opinion on this.

On Sports 18, Styris said, "First of all, as far as KL Rahul is concerned, I am not bothered about him at all. I would have worried about him when he came out to play in the Asia Cup after playing just five-10 balls in two innings. I think he faced 46 balls, he spent some time at the crease.

Styris further said, 'It means he spent time on the field in the middle and with this time he will get into the rhythm. It is more valuable than nets practice. I think he is ready to face Pakistan.
