The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the match schedules for the Men's and Women's Ashes series to be held in 2023. England's men's and women's teams will look to win the Ashes again after their loss to Australia last season. The five-match Ashes series of the men's team will begin at Edgbaston on Friday, June 16. This will be followed by matches at Lord's (June 28-July 2), Headingley (July 6-10), and Old Trafford (19-23). The fifth and final Test will begin at The Oval on Thursday, July 27, and will continue till July 31.
Ahead of the Men's Ashes series, Ben Stokes's England team will play a one-off Test against Ireland at Lord's from June 1-4. For the first time in the 139-year history of the Ashes series, no Test match will be played in England in the month of August.
