The new license holders will start retailing liquor from November 17. During this, only state-run liquor shops were open, which will be closed after November 16.Why will liquor shops not open after November 17?
According to the report of NBT, from November 17, many problems are coming in the opening of new liquor shops. Till now most of the new shops are not ready and whose shops have been ready, they are facing problem in getting the license. However, sources say that it is being told by the Excise Department that the ready shops, keep on taking photos and videos of their shops and sending them to the concerned officer. At present, they will be issued temporary licenses so that they can open their shops. After this, as soon as the shops are visited, permanent licenses will be issued to them.
Ban on construction work due to pollution
To control pollution in Delhi, construction work has been banned till November 17 and due to this, the construction work of new liquor shops has to be stopped. In such a situation, it will take time for these shops to be ready. On the other hand, if the ban on construction works is extended, then it may take more time to open liquor shops.
It will be difficult to get the variety of liquor
According to experts related to the matter, after the opening of new liquor shops, the full variety of liquor and beer will not be available, because there is a delay in getting the domestic and foreign brands of liquor and beer registered. Because of this, people will find it difficult to get the variety of their favorite liquor.
