Understand in detail what happens in this rule

If two or more candidates have the same marks in the final merit, then who will be selected? Who will be placed higher in merit? It is decided on the basis of a tie-breaking rule. For this, UPPRPB has made three rules. Only the candidate who fulfills these rules is placed higher in merit. However, whether this rule will be applicable in the selection process of constable recruitment or not, its final decision will be made after the notification of recruitment is issued.

Rule No - 1

  • 1- (a) Possessing O Level Certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society.
  • (b) - Served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years
  • (c)- NCC B certificate.
  • If the person possessing the above qualification will be given preference. If a person has more than one of the above qualifications, then his qualification will be considered as only one.

Rule No - 2

  • If the decision is not taken now, then the candidate with older age will be given preference.

Rule No - 3

  • Preference will be given according to the first English letter of the name of the candidate in the 10th certificate. The one whose English letter comes first in the alphabet will be given preference.
