On 26 December, a meeting of Brahmin leaders of UP BJP was held at the house of BJP's election in charge Dharmendra Pradhan in Delhi. In this, 28 Brahmin leaders from Uttar Pradesh were present. Along with Dharmendra Pradhan, UP BJP's organization general secretary Sunil Bansal was also a part of this meeting. This meeting in Delhi lasted for about three hours. In this important meeting, about 28 Brahmin faces including UP Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma, MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, UP government ministers Shrikant Sharma, Brijesh Pathak, Satish Dwivedi, Anand Shukla, MP Ramapati Ram Tripathi, MP Shivpratap Shukla, Ajay Mishra Teni They were busy giving the edge to the election strategy.

Sources said that in this meeting suggestions were sought to keep the 12% Brahmin vote bank aligned with the BJP. Apart from this, it was also decided that the prominent leaders of the party should go among the Brahmin society and give information about all the schemes of the central-state government there. They should also be told how the construction work of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was completed under the BJP government. The construction work of the Ram temple is going on and BJP is also putting forward all the cultural and spiritual agenda of the country. Not only this, how there was discrimination against the upper caste society in the SP and BSP government, it should also be told among the Brahmin society.
'BJP has given maximum representation to Brahmin society'
It was also discussed in this meeting that Vipra Samaj should also be told that BJP has given maximum representation to the Brahmin community in UP and Central government as compared to other political parties. Talking about the Yogi government in UP, there are 10 Brahmin faces in the cabinet of CM Yogi Adityanath.
In the meeting held at the house of BJP's assembly election in-charge, Dharmendra Pradhan in UP, election suggestions were sought from all the Brahmin leaders and one by one everyone's words were heard.

After this meeting on 26 December, Brahmin leaders of UP BJP also met BJP National President JP Nadda on 27 December. In this meeting, BJP MP Shivpratap Shukla is seen presenting a picture of Lord Parashuram to BJP President JP Nadda. So there, Brijesh Pathak, the cabinet minister of the UP government, is seen giving a letter.
In UP, more than 55 BJP MLAs are from the Brahmin community. BJP can also increase the number of tickets given to Brahmin faces in this election. Overall, it can be said that BJP is not ready to take any risk regarding its traditional vote bank. Because the opposition parties are trying their best to attract the Brahmin vote bank.
Preparation of Samajwadi Party
Similarly, before the UP elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) has also built a temple of Lord Parashuram in an attempt to woo Brahmin voters to fight for a 12% Brahmin vote bank in UP. On the 2nd of the coming new year, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav will visit and worship Lord Parshuram temple.
SP gives an edge to OBC+Brahmin politics

Recently, Akhilesh Yadav joined the powerful Brahmin family of Purvanchal with the SP. The entire family of Harishankar Tiwari of Gorakhpur has joined the SP. On 12 December, Harishankar Tiwari's son Vinay Shankar Tiwari joined the SP, who is an MLA from Chillupar seat of Gorakhpur. Along with Vinay Shankar Tiwari, his brothers Kushal Tiwari and Ganesh Shankar Pandey also joined the SP. BJP MLA Jai Choubey also went with the SP on 12 December.
Where will Brahmin voters go in 2022?
Be it BJP or BSP or Samajwadi Party, all Brahmin voters are increasing the focus. The Bahujan Samaj Party has already organized a conference under the leadership of Satish Chandra Mishra to unite the Brahmin community. Akhilesh Yadav is seen working on the non-Yadav OBC vote bank these days, while simultaneously trying to connect the Brahmin community with the SP. There is about 42% OBC vote in UP and 12 percent Brahmin.
