Meanwhile, the police registered a case and started investigation. Meanwhile, the postmortem report came, which raised many questions. In the postmortem report, the body was said to be two to three days old, whereas only 24 hours after Mohini Tomar went missing, her body was found floating in the canal of Kasganj. After this, Mohini Tomar's husband demanded the administration to get the DNA test of Mohini Tomar's viscera done. Dinesh Kumari, mother of deceased Mohini Tomar, a resident of Udwaitpur, Kannauj, reached the district hospital of Kasganj to give DNA sample, where the doctor took Dinesh Kumari's DNA sample and sent it to the laboratory for testing.
Let us tell you that in the Mohini Tomar murder case, the police have so far arrested eight people including some lawyers and an LLB student. Some accused are still absconding.
Was Mohini getting threats from lawyers?
According to the police, Mohini Tomar was murdered because of a recent case going on in her court. Mohini was representing a man named Shivshankar. Let us tell you what the case was? Some time ago, after losing a cricket match, Haider, Mustafa and Salman's team abused Shivshankar and later beat him up. This case was filed in the court on behalf of Mohini Tomar.
According to Shivshankar, initially he was being pressured to compromise in the case, however later when the case was about to go to court, he started receiving threats and then Mohini was kidnapped and the murder was committed.
What did Mohini's husband say in the FIR?
Mohini Tomar's husband told in the FIR that his wife had been very upset for some time. When he repeatedly asked about this incident, she told him that she was getting threats because she opposed the bail of Mustafa Kamil's sons. Apart from this, Munajir Rafi's name has also been written in the FIR by the deceased's husband. He told that Rafi's name had come up in the Chandan Gupta case. After that, Mohini had opposed Rafi's bail in that case too.
In his complaint, he said that lawyer Mustafa Kamil, Asad Mustafa, Haider Mustafa, Salman, Munajir Rafi, Keshav Mishra kidnapped his Mohini Tomar in a planned manner by calling her outside the main gate of the court through some person. After this, they took her to an unknown place and got her murdered.
The police have also arrested 8 people in the case. Superintendent Aparna Rajat Kaushik said - Advocate Mustafa Kamil, his three sons Haider Mustafa, Salman Mustafa and Asad Mustafa along with two other associates were arrested in the case.
Police said that Kamil, Haider and Salman are lawyers, while Asad is a LLB student in Aligarh. On the other hand, the police is not telling where and how the accused murdered Mohini and when they threw the body in the canal. Although the motive of the murder has been revealed, one party is accusing the police of registering a case against innocent people.
