According to the information, the deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Mohit Awana, resident of Shiv Enclave, Ismailpur and 21-year-old Tanu. It is being told that this incident happened in an Oyo hotel located in Saraswati Colony adjacent to Delhi. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Palla police station reached the hotel in a hurry and took the bodies of both in custody. Police say that Mohit got married in April and he used to sell milk. He was friends with Tanu even before marriage. Mohit's friendship with Tanu continued even after marriage. The families of both explained them a lot but both did not agree. Both reached Oyo Hotel at around 9 am on Sunday and booked a room in the hotel as husband and wife. After this, Mohit came out of the hotel room at around 6:30 pm and asked the address from the hotel staff.
Committed suicide by consuming poison
When Mohit came out of the room in the evening, his condition was very bad. He informed his family that he and the girl Tanu with him had swallowed a poisonous substance. On receiving the information, the family reached the hotel and immediately admitted both of them to the nearest hospital. In this case, Inspector Randeep, in-charge of Palla police station, says that the mobile phones of both have been confiscated and investigation has been started. There is no information about what happened between the two. The police got the postmortem of both the bodies done and handed over the bodies to their families. The police says that further legal action will be taken on the basis of the investigation and the reason why both of them committed suicide is also being investigated.
