Night sleeping rule in an Indian railway train

According to the Indian Railways, no passenger can talk loudly in the train after 10 pm during the train journey. If any person is found doing so, action can be taken against him.

No person can speak loudly while sitting in his compartment or seat after boarding the train. On receipt of the complaint, the culprit can be fined.

The passenger cannot keep the lights of his coach on even after 10 pm. Keeping in mind the convenience of the rest of the passengers, he should switch off the lights (night sleeping rule in train) in any case.

If a passenger starts traveling in the train after midnight then his ticket cannot be checked. Passengers' tickets can be checked only after 6 am. During this time no one can disturb his sleep.
