According to police, the incident took place in Dhardari village under Dablana police station area of ​​Bundi district. A family of Gujjar community brought a woman named Manju from Bhimganj village as their daughter-in-law 15 days ago under the custom of "Nata Vivah". Two weeks after the marriage, Manju poisoned her in-laws' food and made them unconscious. Those who were poisoned include Manju's husband Durgashankar, mother-in-law Kailash Bai, father-in-law Kanha, brother-in-law Mukhraj, and sister-in-law Resham. After consuming the poison, everyone became unconscious, and Manju fled from the spot with cash and jewellery.

Five people from in-laws' house fell sick

The next day on Friday morning, when the family members did not wake up, the neighbors became suspicious. The neighbors immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and admitted all the victims to the hospital. When they regained consciousness, the victims gave full information about the incident to the police. The victims told that Manju had fled from the house on a bike at midnight. The police have also come to know that Manju was fond of making reels on social media, and it is possible that she is adept at hiding her identity for this reason.
