Congress has announced its candidates for the by-elections of 7 assembly seats in Rajasthan. These candidates will try their luck in the voting to be held on November 13.

Jaipur. By-elections are being held on 7 assembly seats in Rajasthan. Voting will be held on November 13. Meanwhile, Congress has announced its candidates for all the seven seats.

According to the Congress list, Amit Ola has been fielded from Jhunjhunu, Aryan Zubair from Ramgarh, Deen Dayal Bairwa from Dausa, Kastur Chand Meena from Deoli-Uniyara, Ratan Chaudhary from Khinswar, Reshma Meena from Salumbhar (ST) and Mahesh Roat from Chorasi (ST) seat. Congress state president Govind Dotasara posted on X and wished the candidates.

Govind Dotasara wrote, "Hearty congratulations to all the Congress candidates and best wishes for victory in advance. I have full faith that in the by-elections, the public will give strength to public issues by making the Congress candidates victorious with a huge margin and will teach a lesson to the failed BJP government."

By-elections are being held on 48 assembly and 2 Lok Sabha seats in 15 states (Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal).

The election will be held in two phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on November 13 for 47 assembly seats and Wayanad parliamentary seat of Kerala. In the second phase, voting will be held on November 20 for Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand and Nanded parliamentary seat of Maharashtra. Counting of votes will take place on November 23.
