The Election Commission has announced voting in Rajasthan on 23 November. At present, Congress is in power in the state and BJP is the main opposition party.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar announced at a press conference that the counting of votes would take place on December 3. MLAs will be elected for 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan.

There are 200 seats in the Rajasthan Assembly. In the 2018 elections, the BJP won 70 seats, while the Congress won 108 seats.

The elections will be held in a single phase and nominations for the elections will begin from October 30.

On the other hand, the BJP is investing heavily in the issues of Modi magic, corruption, and unemployment in the state to remove shrewd politician Ashok Gehlot from the post.
