A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on November 14-15. His office on Monday said he will launch a Rs 24,000 crore scheme aimed at the overall development of particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTGs) on November 15 in Jharkhand on the occasion of 'Tribal Pride Day'.

He will also launch the 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra', release the 15th installment of PM-Kisan and inaugurate or lay the foundation stone of several development projects in the state. According to officials, he will also hold a road show in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi on Tuesday evening, which will start from Birsa Munda airport around 8 pm soon after his arrival here and reach Raj Bhavan, about 10 km away, around 9.30 pm. expires in.

On November 15 at around 9.30 am, the Prime Minister will visit Lord Birsa Munda Memorial Park-cum-Freedom Fighters Museum in Ranchi. After this, he will reach Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda, where he will offer floral tributes to the statue of Lord Birsa Munda. The statement said that PM Modi will be the first PM to visit Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda.

He will participate in an event to commemorate the 3rd Tribal Pride Day, 2023 in Khunti at around 11.30 am. During the program, the Prime Minister will launch the 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and the Prime Minister's Specially Vulnerable Tribal Groups Mission. He will also release the 15th installment of PM-Kisan and inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone of several development projects in Jharkhand, the statement said.

The statement said that it has been the Prime Minister's constant effort to ensure that the benefits of the government's major schemes reach all the targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.

In a major step towards achieving this goal of saturation of schemes, Modi will launch the 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. The focus of the Yatra will be on reaching out to people creating awareness and providing benefits of welfare schemes like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, and reliable health care.

The statement said that enrollment of potential beneficiaries will be done through details ascertained during the visit. The Prime Minister will flag off the IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) van in Khunti, marking the launch of the 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra'. The Yatra will initially start from districts with a significant tribal population and cover all districts across the country by January 25, 2024.
