Two phones were ordered from the number of Himanshu Kanaujia, a resident of Chinhat, Lucknow. One was Google Pixel and the other was Vivo, which cost around one lakh rupees. Bharat is a delivery boy in Flipkart. Bharat reached Himanshu's house on Deva Road in Chinhat on September 24 to deliver the mobile. When Bharat called, Himanshu made a conference call and made him talk to his partner Gajanan. Gajanan said - he will receive the mobile.

Gajanan called Bharat to his house. When Bharat reached Gajanan's house for payment, Gajanan called Bharat inside the house. According to the police, Gajanan along with his partner Akash strangled Bharat to death and robbed him of his mobile and money. Not only this, the accused stuffed the body in a sack and threw it in the Indira canal. Gajanan is the main accused in the incident, while Akash and Himanshu are his accomplices. Gajanan is still absconding, while Akash and Himanshu have been arrested. According to the police, the customer killed the delivery boy so that he would not have to pay Rs 1 lakh as cash on delivery.
Gajanan and Bharat used to work in the same company
It has been revealed that Gajanan worked with Bharat in the same company for two months. Regarding Gajanan, Bharat's brother Prem Kumar said that neither the two were friends nor did they ever have any dispute. Gajanan had embezzled about Rs 2.5 lakh from the company. A lot of material was found with him. Due to this, he was fired from the job. Currently, he runs a small hardware shop, while Akash is in a corporate sector.
The family had filed the report on September 25
In this case, the family had lodged a missing complaint on September 25. The police traced Gajanan's number through Bharat's call details. Through Gajanan, the police reached his friend Akash. During interrogation, Akash confessed his crime.
The body of the delivery boy has not been found yet
The police have not yet recovered Bharat's body. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team is searching for the body in the Indira Canal. The accused killed Bharat and chopped his body into pieces and threw it in the canal on September 24 itself.
The reason for the murder was revealed
According to the police, a 30-year-old delivery boy was murdered when he went to deliver an iPhone to a customer. The customer killed the delivery boy so that he would not have to pay Rs 1 lakh as cash on delivery.
Bharat was a resident of Amethi
Bharat was a resident of Sambhai village in Amethi. He lived in a rented house on Satrikh Road in Lucknow. Here he lived with his wife and sister. He was associated with Flipkart for 8 years and was a delivery boy. He got married 12 years ago. According to the family members, Bharat left the house with a parcel at 10 am on 24 September, but did not return till 3 pm. Bharat had gone to Deva Road Baba Hospital to deliver the parcel. He had 2 mobiles, which he had to deliver.
