NCB officer Sameer Wankhede divorced his first wife Shabana Qureshi in 2016 and married actress Kranti Redkar in 2017. Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik on Thursday leveled allegations against Mumbai NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, saying that Sameer Wankhede wrongly implicated his first wife's relative in a drug case so that his family does not turn against the officer. Could speak Nawab Malik said that Sameer Wankhede also implicated the son of an IPS officer in a drug case and got him arrested.

Nawab Malik said that Sameer Wankhede had some dispute with the IPS officer due to which he did it. Nawab Malik strongly supported former Maharashtra Home Minister and NCP leader Anil Deshmukh, saying that he was implicated by misusing central agencies.Let us inform you that Anil Deshmukh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the case of money laundering and is currently in judicial custody. On Wednesday, NCP President Sharad Pawar had also said that injustice is being done to Anil Deshmukh.
