With the abolition of Article 370, the central government abolished the privileges of Kashmir and created two union territories in the form of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

  3. Budget date- The budget date was changed after PM Modi came to the government. Before the Modi government came, the budget was presented on the last date of February, 28 or 29 February. But, the budget is presented on 1 February.
  4. CAA-NRC- PM Modi implemented the Citizenship Amendment Act on 10 January 2020 and this decision was also considered his historic decision. Through this law, non-Muslim migrants who came to India's neighboring country were promised citizenship. However, there was a lot of controversy in the country regarding this.
  5. International Yoga Day- International Yoga Day has been celebrated due to the thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He talked about celebrating International Yoga Day on 27 September 2014 in the United Nations. After this, on 21 June 2015, it was recognized by 177 members of the United Nations and since then, International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June.
  6. Ministry of Jal Shakti- PM Modi formed the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The Modi government merged the Ministries of Water Resources and Drinking Water and Sanitation to form the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
  7. Balakot Air Strike- When India was attacked in Pulwama, PM Modi decided to do a Balakot air strike to give a reply to Pakistan. The Indian Army conducted an air strike on 26 February 2019 and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan by bombarding Pakistan.
  8. Demonetisation- Demonetisation is one of the most important decisions of the Modi government. This decision was taken by PM Modi on 8 November 2016, which he announced the ban of 500 and 1000 notes. Although it was criticized a lot later, history will always remember this decision of PM Modi.
  9. The merger of public sector banks- Modi government On April 1, 2020, the Modi government announced the merger of 10 government banks in the country to form 4 big banks. The merged banks included Oriental Bank of Commerce, United Bank, Syndicate Bank, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, and Corporation Bank.

  16. Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana- PM Kisan Yojana was implemented from December 1, 2018. Under this scheme, all eligible farmers having land are eligible to get financial assistance of Rs.6,000 per year. The amount is deposited directly into the bank account in 3 equal installments of Rs.2,000 every 4 months.
  17. NITI Aayog- PM Modi made the Planning Commission set up by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1950 as NITI Aayog i.e. National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) with effect from January 1, 2015.
  18. GST- The Prime Minister believes in equality in the country and he implemented GST under one nation, one tax policy. The tax received under the new policy is divided into two parts. 50 percent goes to the center and 50 percent to the state government. It was considered the biggest step in the financial system.
  19. Foundation of Ram Mandir- On August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and after Bhumi Pujan, the construction of the temple started. This special moment has also been recorded in the pages of history.
