According to the complaints received on the Rail Madad app, the Saharsa-Amritsar Garib Rath train ranks first in terms of dirtiness (Most Dirty Trains in India). This train goes from Amritsar in Punjab to the Saharsa district of Bihar. This train runs packed from both sides. A maximum of 81 complaints of filth have been received on this train. People have complained about the dirt being spread from the coach to the sink and toilet cabin. This train is counted among the worst facilities in the country.

After this, 67 complaints have been received on the Jogbani-Anand Vihar Seemanchal Express train, 64 on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Bandra Swaraj Express train, 61 on the Bandra-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Swaraj Express train and 57 in Ferozepur-Agartala Tripura Sundari Express train. Passengers have complained about filth and lack of cleanliness in these trains.

These trains are also not far behind in terms of filth.

While 52 complaints related to filth have been received on the Anand Vihar-Jogbani Seemanchal Express train going from Delhi to Bihar, 50 on the Amritsar Clone Special train, 40 on the Ajmer-Jammu Tawi Puja Express train, and 35 on New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express train. In these 10 trains, a total of 1079 complaints have been received by the Railways in a month. Complaints of dirt, unavailability of water, dirt on a blanket sheet, and torn seats were included.

The special thing is that most of the complaints of dirt (Most Dirty Trains in India) came from the trains going towards East India. In terms of dirtiness, 7 trains were connecting North and East India in the top 10 trains. While trains going from Mumbai to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra were also found dirty. Along with the express trains, people also complained about the filth in the Rajdhani Express train. Railway officials say that to remove the dirt, now on board housekeeping service has been started in trains. Under this, as soon as the complaint is received, it is immediately disposed of in the train.
