Instructions for maintaining a buffer stock of oxygen

The Center has instructed the states on medical oxygen that all the states should have adequate buffer stock of medical oxygen. In addition, provide all health facilities for the care of patients.

Oxygen stock is required for 48 hours

The Union Health Secretary said state governments should maintain adequate buffer stock of medical oxygen for at least 48 hours in oxygen therapy. Ensure availability of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO). In addition, LMO tanks for health facilities should be adequately filled and there should be uninterrupted supply for its refill.

A list of oxygen cylinders should also be made
