How to Renew DL Online
The Ministry of Transport has created a web portal from which you can apply for a new driving license or license renewal. The name of this portal is Transport Service. Many facilities related to driving licenses and vehicles are available on this portal. If the validity of your driving license is about to expire, then you can renew it from this portal. Follow these steps to renew your driving license.

Go to the website of Transport Services Portal.
Click on Online Services.
Select Driving License Related Services from here.
After this select your state from the drop-down list.
Now after selecting the Apply for DL ​​renewal option, click on Continue.
Here you have to proceed by entering your license number, date of birth, and captcha code.
After completing the further process, fill out the online form and pay the fees.

The penalty will be imposed after DL expires


You can also go to the RTO to get the driving license renewed. Here you have to fill out Form-9 and pay the fees. If you are above 40 years of age, then Form-1A will have to be signed by a registered for medical fitness. If your driving license has expired, the RTO will also impose a fine for late renewal.
