Janvi sometimes used to call herself a doctor and sometimes an IAS officer and trap young men in a love trap and lure them into marriage. She made a young man named Ravi Ranjan her victim by showing him a fake doctor card of AIIMS and a fake paper cutting of becoming an IAS.

Jahnvi Singh, a resident of Aurai police station area of ​​​​Muzaffarpur, became friends with Ravi Ranjan on Facebook. Jahnvi told herself to be a doctor from AIIMS. Ravi holds a high position in an IT company. Their friendship gradually turned into love. Meanwhile, Jahnvi told that she has become an IAS officer. She proposed marriage to Ravi and Ravi also agreed.

Jhanvi started living with Ravi at his house. Both of them got engaged. Jhanvi had also brought a lot of jewellery with her, after the engagement Jhanvi staged a drama of jewellery theft. Ravi got influenced by Jhanvi's words and filed a complaint against his own relative in Beur police station. The police started investigation. Meanwhile, Ravi found two Aadhar cards with different names in Jhanvi's bag. Ravi informed the police about this.

When the police came to question Jahnavi, she introduced herself as an IAS officer. But the police mustered up courage and searched Jahnavi's room. The police were also stunned to see the things found in the room. The police arrested Jahnavi and recovered Rs 39,000 in cash, several pieces of jewellery, a mobile, and two fake Aadhaar cards from her. The numbers in the Aadhaar cards were the same, but the names were different. Apart from this, a fake AIIMS doctor's ID card and paper cuttings were also found. The police have sent Jahnavi to jail as per the legal process.

SHO cum trainee DSP Nishant Gaurav said that Ravi Ranjan, a resident of Ganga Vihar Colony, had lodged a complaint that Janvi was trying to run away with real jewellery and money in exchange for fake jewellery. The police took action and arrested Janvi and all her documents were found to be fake.
