Samsung Hiring Plans In 2022: Electronics giant South Korean company Samsung plans to increase the number of its employees in India in the year 2022. Under this, the company will recruit around 1000 engineers from top engineering institutes in India. The company announced this in a statement on Wednesday.

Among the institutions that Samsung will recruit in India are many top institutions including Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), BITS Pilani and NIT. According to a company statement, young engineers graduating in 2022 will be recruited in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Cloud Data Analysis.

Will recruit 1000 young engineers

According to the report, Samsung will recruit around 260 young engineers from its new IIT campuses in Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai, Madras, Guwahati, Kharagpur, BHU, Roorkee and others for its three R&D centers (Bengaluru, Noida and Delhi) alone. The scheme is designed to promote innovation among recruiters at Samsung's R&D centers in India.

Samir Wadhawan, Senior Vice President and Head (HR), Samsung India, said that the research and development (R&D) segment in India has grown rapidly over the last few years. "We plan to recruit more than 1,000 engineers this year," he said. This will be put through PPO. He added that hiring through PPOs gives both the employer and the employee a better view of the right and satisfaction for the job.
