Because of the increasing cases of coronavirus and the threat of Omicron, a yellow alert has been implemented in Delhi from today (Tuesday). With the implementation of the Yellow Alert, many restrictions have also been imposed in Delhi. Know in this news what will open and what will be closed in Delhi now.
What is open and what is closed in Delhi?
Shops in malls and shopping complexes will open according to Odd-Even.
Schools, colleges, and other educational institutions will remain closed.
Shops will open from 10 am to 8 pm.
Shopkeepers will be allowed to open shop in the locality but will have to follow the Covid rules.
Weekly markets will be set up with 50 percent capacity.
Only one weekly market will be allowed in each municipal corporation.
Restaurants will be allowed to run with 50 percent capacity. Restaurants will open from 8 am to 10 pm.
Bars will open during the day from 12 am to 10 pm with 50 percent capacity.
Hotels will be allowed to open without banquets and conference halls.
The auditorium and assembly hall will remain closed.
Cinema halls, theaters, and multiplexes will remain closed.
- Amusement and water parks will remain closed.
Central government offices will run according to the orders of the Government of India.
50 percent of staff will be allowed to call in private offices.
Only 2 passengers will be allowed to travel in auto, e-rickshaw, taxi, and cycle rickshaw.
Sports complexes, stadiums, and swimming pools will be closed although national or international sports can be organized.
Only 20 people will be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony and funeral.
- Activities related to social, political, religious, festivals and entertainment will be banned (this ban is still in force).
Religious places will remain open but the entry of devotees will be restricted.
Night curfew will apply from 10 pm to 5 am.
Delhi Metro will run with a 50 percent seating capacity and traveling standing will not be allowed.

Buses going from one state to another will run with 50 percent seating capacity.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the infection rate of Covid-19 in Delhi for the last 2 days is more than 0.5 percent. In Delhi, 290 cases of coronavirus were reported on Sunday and 331 on Monday. In such a situation, Yellow Alert is being implemented to control the situation.
A yellow alert has been implemented in Delhi under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). According to the alert of GRAP, Level-1 i.e. Yellow Alert has been implemented in Delhi under Graded Response Action Plan after the infection rate is 0.5 percent for 2 consecutive days. Level-2 i.e. Amber Alert will be issued if the infection rate is more than 1 percent, Level-3 i.e. Orange Alert if more than 2 percent, and Level-4 i.e. Red Alert will be issued if it is more than 5 percent.
