Actually, the miscreants carried out this act due to land dispute. This incident happened in Krishna Nagar Dalit Basti located near Nanaura in Mufassil police station area of ​​Nawada. According to the police, there was a dispute between two parties regarding land, due to which the miscreants beat up the Dalit families on Wednesday evening and then set their houses on fire after firing in the air.

A portion of the land in the village is currently occupied by Dalit families. There is a dispute with the other party over the possession of this land. The victim families allege that the goons suddenly attacked on Wednesday evening.

What did the SP of Nawada say?

SP Abhinav Dhiman said, "Around 7 pm, it was reported that some people had set houses on fire. Initially, it was claimed that 40-50 houses were burnt, but as per the survey we have done so far by the civil side and the police in the dark of the night, around 21 houses have been targeted. There is no report of anyone's death in this incident."

The Superintendent of Police has denied the incident of aerial firing here.
