Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will conduct the Preliminary Written Examination (PWT) for the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) on 7 August 2022 and PC (Police Constable) on 21 August 2022. Candidates appearing for PWT will be able to download Telangana Police Admit Card 2022 for Sub Inspector (SI) and/or equivalent posts from 30 July 2022.

TSLPRB had invited applications through online mode only to fill up 17,516 vacant posts in different categories including SCT PC Civil and/or an equivalent number of posts 15,644, SCT SI Civil and/or equivalent posts 554, SCT PC The number of posts of IT&CO/Mechanic/Driver is 383. The number of posts of SCT SI IT & CO / PTO / ASI FPB is 33. The number of posts of Transport Constable is 63. The number of posts of Prohibition and Excise constable is 614 and in Fire Services Department 225 posts of Driver Operator are to be filled.

It is expected that around 2,45,000 candidates will appear for SI-level PWT on 7th August and over 6,50,000 candidates will appear for PC-level PWT on 21st August 2022.

When will be able to download admit card
The admit card for SCT SI (Civil) and/or equivalent will be released on 30 July. The admit cards for SCT PCs and equivalent will be issued on August 10.

TSLPRB Police Constable & SI 2022 Written Exam Pattern
All the registered candidates will get 3 hours for the written exam of 200 marks. The questions in the paper will be objective and will be set in English, Telugu, and Urdu languages.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in Preliminary Written Test
OC category candidates will have to secure at least 40 percent marks to pass. At the same time, the candidates in BC category will have to get at least 35 percent marks. For SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen, you have to bring at least 30 percent marks.
