The government has started the Mushroom Hut scheme to promote mushroom cultivation. Under this, the government is giving huts to the farmers. Farmers can now earn well by cultivating mushrooms in their huts.

Only 5 states account for 75% of the total mushroom production in the country. These states are Uttarakhand, Haryana, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Bihar. Bihar is number one in the country with 10.82% mushroom production.

To promote Mushroom Cultivation, the Bihar government is giving huts to the farmers under the Mushroom Hut scheme. Farmers can now increase their income by cultivating mushrooms in the hut.

Nisha Kumar, a resident of the Nalanda district of Bihar, has been cultivating mushrooms for 4-5 years. After joining the Horticulture Department and Atma, got the benefit of many schemes. After this, she got the benefit of the hut mushroom scheme. Through this, she is cultivating mushrooms in 2000 bags simultaneously.

They also make by-products in mushrooms. She is also giving training to the farmers of other districts. They also get kits every year from the Horticulture Department.

Farmers in Bihar are earning well from mushroom cultivation. For this, he has taken the support of a hut. The central government is also giving subsidies of up to 50 percent to promote farming.
