The budget session of Parliament is expected to begin on January 31. According to the report of the news agency ANI, the budget session will end on 6 April. The session will begin with the address of President Draupadi Murmu to the joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This will be President Murmu's first address to both the Houses of Parliament after assuming the top post in August last year.

The first part will run till 10 February
According to the report, on the first day of the budget session, the Economic Survey will be kept in both Houses. It has been said in the report that the Finance Minister is expected to present the Union Budget in Parliament on 1 February. The first part of the session is expected to continue till February 10. There will also be a break in between, during which the Standing Committees will examine the Demands for Grants of different ministries. The second part of the budget session will begin on March 6 and is expected to end on April 6.

During the first part of the Budget session, there will be a detailed discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address in both Houses. After this, the Union Budget will be discussed. Where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the motion of thanks in the President's address. At the same time, Finance Minister Sitharaman will answer the debate on the Union Budget.
