Agniveer Recruitment 2022: Indian Air Force has given other information including educational qualification and physical criteria in the notification of Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2022.

The registration for the Air Force under the Agneepath scheme is starting today.

Under the Agnipath scheme, the selection process by the Indian Air Force will start on Friday, July 24. The registration will start today and will continue till July 5. The online exam will be held from July 24 to July 31. Information about the entire process has already been given by the Air Force. There will be a physical fitness test from August 21 to August 28. The medical examination will be held from 29 August to 8 November. The list of names of the candidates who will clear all these phases will be released on December 1, 2022. Age Range

Candidates' maximum age should be 23 years.

Educational qualification

For candidates with Science stream, candidates should have passed Intermediate with Science stream (Mathematics and English). Must have at least 50-50 percent marks in Mathematics and English.Or

Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Technology / Information Technology) from a Polytechnic College with at least 50% marks.

Subjects other than science

Candidates should have passed 12th from any stream with at least 50% marks.

How will the selection

  • After the launch of the Agneepath scheme in the Indian Airforce, the candidates will be selected based on a written test, physical eligibility test, and medical test. First of all, you have to appear in the written exam. The shortlisted candidates will go for the physical test. After the physical test, the candidates will have a medical test.

Phase 1. Online Test - The online test will be of objective type and the paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). Online examinations will be conducted simultaneously for candidates opting for science subjects and subjects other than science. In this examination, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer under negative marking.

Phase 2. Physical Test- The shortlisted candidates in the written examination will have to appear in the physical test. In this, a new admit card will be issued for the candidates. It will include a 1.6 km run, for which a time of 06 minutes 30 seconds will be given. Candidates will also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.

Phase 3. Medical Test- After the written test and physical test, candidates will have to appear for a medical test. This test will be conducted by the Medical Boarding Centre. In this, the candidates will get the final selection only after a full body checkup. The Provisional Select List (PSL) will be released on 01 December 2022.
