Notifications of various districts are being issued one after the other for the recruitment of Agniveers under the Agneepath scheme in the Indian Army. The application period for the recruitment rallies of many districts and AROs is over. While some have just started. Notifications for three new Agniveer recruitment rallies have been issued for the youth of 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Recently, Lucknow RO Headquarters has released the notification of Agniveer Recruitment. The process of applying for this started on 5th August 2022. An online application can be done by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in till 03rd September. Lucknow Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally will be held from 20 October to 10 November 2022 at Armorena Stadium, Kanpur. Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman (8th 10th pass) will be recruited in this rally. Youth from Oraiya, Banda, Barabanki, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Mahoba, and Unnao districts will be able to participate in the Lucknow Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally.
Amethi Agniveer Recruitment Rally
ARO Amethi has also started the online application process for Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally. These applications can be made by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in from 5 August 2022 to 03 September. The rally will be held from 16 November to 6 December 2022 at the Dogra Regiment Center in Ayodhya. The youth of Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Basti, Ayodhya, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, and Sultanpur will participate in this recruitment rally. There will also be selected for the post of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman (8th 10th pass).
Varanasi Agniveer Recruitment Rally
Army Recruitment Office (ARO) Varanasi has also invited online applications for Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally in your area. Applications can be made by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in from 5 August 2022 to 03 September. The rally will be held from 16 November to 6 December 2022 at the Ranbankure Stadium in Varanasi. The youth of Azamgarh, Ballia, Chandauli, Deoria, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Mau, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Sant Ravidas Nagar, and Varanasi will be able to participate in this recruitment rally. There will also be selected for the post of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman (8th 10th pass).
Information about which recruitment rally's admit card will be sent on the registered email and when will it be released on the website can be seen from the notification of the same ARO's recruitment rally.
What is qualification
- For Agniveer General Duty (GD) should be 10th pass with 45% marks. Must have at least 33% marks in each subject.
For Agniveer Technical, a 12th pass is necessary with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects.
- 12th pass with 60% marks for Agniveer Clerk/ Storekeeper posts. 50% marks in English and Mathematics are required.
- Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass - At least 10th pass. The applicant should have 33% marks in all the subjects.
- Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass - At least 8th pass. The applicant should have 33% marks in all the subjects.
The age limit for all the above posts is 17 साढ़े years to 23 years. That is, the applicant must have been born between 1 October 1999 to 1 April 2005.
Keep in mind the age limit is 23 years only for this year 2022-23. This discount is given for one time only. From next year the maximum age limit will be 21 years.
Talk about the physical test for the recruitment of Agniveers that under Group-1, 1.6 km will be run in 5 and a half minutes. 10 pull-ups have to be done. Under Group-2, 1.6 km will be run in 5 minutes 45 seconds. Pull-ups will have to be applied 6 to 9 times.
