The Central Government has launched the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme for recruitment in the Indian Armed Forces. According to this scheme, recruitment will be done for four years in the Indian forces and those soldiers will be called 'Agniveer'. Training will also be given for this recruitment and after four years, some soldiers will be retained on the basis of performance and the rest will be retired.

According to the Agneepath scheme of the Indian Army, 17 to 21-year-old youth will be given a chance to join the army. They will be given training for 2 months to 6 months. The most important thing about this recruitment is that both men and women will get the opportunity to serve in the army. The youth of 17.5 years to 21 years will be considered eligible to be a part of this recruitment. Everyone should keep in mind that Agniveer will be recruited on the basis of the physical and medical standards that have been fixed for recruitment in the Indian Army at present. According to the terms and conditions of the army, the youth who have passed 10th and 12th can become a part of this scheme.

What will happen after the end of 4 years? (What Next After 4 Years?)
The candidates who will be selected under the Agneepath scheme will have to serve in the army for 4 years as Agniveer. After 4 years, the Agni Veers will have to leave the service of the army. According to the requirements of the army, 25 percent of the soldiers will be made part of the regular cadre and the rest of the soldiers will be retired. Agniveers will be given a service fund package after 4 years of service and a lump sum interest of about Rs 11.7 lakh after completing 4 years of service in the army.

How much will be the salary? (What Will Be The Salary of Agniveers?)
Under this scheme, Agni Veers will be given an annual salary of Rs 4.76 lakh. The hardship package and risk package will be given separately to these soldiers. With this, the salary will be increased to Rs 6.92 lakh in the fourth year. After the end of four years, a lump sum interest of about Rs 11.7 lakh will be given.

What will happen when you become a victim of an accident?
If any Agniveer dies during the tenure of 4 years then insurance will be provided to the entire family of the martyr. Along with this, if a soldier becomes disabled during this service, then he will be given an amount up to 44 lakhs and the salary of the remaining job will also be given.
