In Telangana, a man got electric shock and died after sleeping with his mobile on charging at night. Let's know how dangerous it can be and what is the reason behind it.

If you get an idea of how dangerous it can be to sleep with the phone on charging, then you will never sleep with the phone on charging. The latest case is from Telangana where a man died after sleeping with the phone on charging.

A 23-year-old man died of electric shock in Kamareddy district of Telangana after coming in contact with a wire kept near the bed to charge the mobile phone while sleeping.

According to the police, the incident took place on Friday, October 25, when the victim Maloth Anil spread an electric wire near his bed to charge his mobile phone and then went to sleep.

Do you know why such incidents happen? Actually, sleeping with the phone on charging or using it can both be dangerous. The input of the charger is either 250 V AC or 110 V AC, depending on where you are.

While putting the phone on charging, you should check whether your charging port is damaged or not. If the port is damaged, you may get a severe shock while charging.

Apart from this, using the phone while charging causes the phone to heat up, this also affects the battery, if it gets too hot, the chances of the battery exploding increase and this can also cause your death.

Apart from this, if your input and output circuit is bad, then both the phases of the current can collide with each other, which can cause a short circuit.

Remember, if the charger is faulty, do not make the mistake of sleeping with it on charging at night, because due to overheating or high voltage the wires may melt and stick together due to which a short circuit may cause your death overnight.
