Education is like a path to a better future for children. Children go to school to get an education. In school, children are taught about many subjects to make them proficient in every direction. Often children are weak in some subjects, on which they need to concentrate more. At the same time, many students are preparing for competitive examinations, for which they study for hours.
However, by studying for hours sitting, children often start having problems like insomnia, eye irritation, headache, or body pain. The complaint of not being able to concentrate on studies is also common. If your child also takes classes for hours in school or coaching, or studies for hours sitting in his room, then it can affect his mental and physical health. The child also needs to be physically active and it is also important to give rest to the brain. In such a situation, information about some yogasanas is being given here. In the next slides, know yoga for students who study sitting for hours.
Yoga to focus
Children often do not concentrate while studying. Due to this, their mind keeps wandering and they do not feel like studying. Sitting with a book continuously does not mean studying. To make the child focus on their studies, make him practice Vrikshasana. This yoga maintains the balance of the body and helps in concentrating.
Method of practicing Vrikshasana
To practice Vrikshasana, stand straight and balance on the left leg, bend the right leg, and place the sole on the thigh of the left leg. Maintain balance in this position join the hands take them above the head and take a namaskar pose. Stay in this position for some time, and later repeat the process with the other leg as well.
Yoga to relax the eyes.
Continuous study causes pain in the eyes and there may also be complaints of weak eyesight. To relax the eyes and sharpen the eyesight, you can practice Bhastrika Pranayama. This yoga also affects the lungs, ears, and nose.
Method of Bhastrika Pranayama
To do this asana, sit in Sukhasana posture and keep the neck and spine straight. Now take a deep breath without moving the body and exhale quickly while making a sound from both nostrils.
Yoga for physical health
Studying for hours while sitting in one place reduces physical activity. Studying while sitting in the wrong position or studying with the head bent causes back and neck pain. Instead of sitting continuously, one should get up in between and walk for some time. Also, for physical activity, you can practice Sarvangasana Yoga. This yoga strengthens the muscles of the arms and shoulders, improves memory, improves eyesight, and improves the glow of energy in the brain.
Method of practicing Sarvangasana
To do this asana, lie down on the back, keep both palms down raise the legs straight up in the air, and bend them towards the head. Straighten the shoulders, spine, and hips while supporting the waist with the hands. After remaining in this position for 30 seconds, slowly come back to the previous position.
