After a long wait, X has launched Passkey support for all iOS users. Passkey was introduced in January this year which is an alternative to a password. Earlier the X passkey was only for American users but now it has been released globally.
The passkey feature of X is not currently available for web and Android but it can be launched for Android soon. Only last month, a leaked report came from which its launch is being speculated.
X has announced this feature of its platform through its official handle. iOS i.e. iPhone users can take advantage of this passkey. Talking about the benefits of the passkey, there is no need to remember it and there is no risk of it being leaked.
Passkeys are filled in automatically. It can be used on many devices but this is not the case with X at the moment. Whenever you create a new account, your phone suggests a password and says that it is a strong password and does not need to be remembered.
The passkey facility is also available in Google Chrome. No one can guess the password. To turn on X's passkey on your iPhone, go to Settings & Privacy of your X account. After that click on Security and select Passkey from Additional Password Protection. Similarly, the passkey can also be deleted.
