This secret can be your Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN. How to lock a chat with a secret code?
Open your WhatsApp app.
Now go to the chat you want to lock.
Now long press (for a while) on that chat.
Now click on the three-dot menu.
Now you will see the option of ‘Lock chat’.
Click on it then click on the Continue button.
Now you will be asked whether you want to lock your chat using Face ID, Fingerprint, or PIN.
After this, your chat will be locked.
Now whenever you go to this chat, you will get this lock.
Use the code and chat now.
Locked chats will appear in a separate window i.e. they will not be visible in the chat window.
If you have locked a chat, then every time you want to chat, you will have to search for that person by name.
