WhatsApp keeps offering new features to improve the app. The messaging app has recently added another special feature on its platform, Voice Message View. Let us tell you that the View Once feature was present earlier also, but it was for photos and videos. Now it has been introduced for voice messages also.

There will be a green-colored logo on the View Once voice message so that it can be identified that after listening to it once, it will disappear. Keep in mind that if the View Once voice message is opened once, it will be automatically deleted and it will not be heard again.

The message once viewed cannot be forwarded to any other person. The biggest thing is that even the person sending it cannot forward it to others. If this has to be done then the sender will have to record that message again and share it.

WhatsApp has set the limit of viewing voice messages once. According to the official blog post, voice messages sent as View Once will be available only for 14 days after being sent, and then will be deleted after that.

Unlike regular voice notes, senders can't listen to their voice messages after they send them. However, there is an option to preview it before sending it.

Viewed once cannot store voice messages.
On Android devices, users can use the native screen recorder to record voice messages sent to them. Self-deleted messages cannot be saved or stored for future use by users. These messages do not provide this option by default.
