WhatsApp New Features: Even if your phone number is locked, you can still log in to your WhatsApp account.

WhatsApp New Features: WhatsApp is used all over the world including India today, but whenever we buy a new device, logging in again with all the data becomes a very difficult task. To login, till now you can do this only by doing OTP verification through SMS, but what if your phone number is switched off or your phone is stolen? Keeping this in view, the company has now come up with a great feature. Through which you can log in even without a number.

Let us tell you that this feature was earlier available in the WhatsApp beta version, now it is available for all users. According to the WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp for iOS has added the email verification feature in version 23.24.70, which is now available on the App Store. If a user is having trouble accessing his/her WhatsApp account while being somewhere without cellular coverage, he/she can now log in through SMS verification as well.

To add an email address to your account, open your profile, then tap the Account menu, and finally Email Address. WhatsApp says that the added email address is kept completely private and is only required to access the account. However, the company says that users still need an active phone number to use WhatsApp, because the email address is used only for verification.

Not only this, for some WhatsApp beta testers the company has also started providing a dedicated shortcut button for AI-powered chat. Initially introduced by Mark Zuckerberg, the feature is currently undergoing beta testing, giving some users a glimpse of the future of AI-powered chat interactions. The company may soon roll it out for everyone.
