Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature called Admin Review. With the help of this feature of WhatsApp, there will be help in managing group chats. What is Admin Review Feature?
As reported by WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently testing the Admin Review feature, which will help manage group messages even in the absence of a group admin. It has been introduced with the latest WhatsApp beta for Android update, version 2.23.16.18. This feature is being introduced to enhance group management.
Under the feature, group members will get a new edit group settings option in group settings. With the help of this option, the members of the group can report any inappropriate or wrong message. Based on the report the group admin will have the right to remove the message or take appropriate action depending on the nature of the content.
That is, with the help of this feature, obscene and other similar messages and content can be prevented from being sent to the group. Along with this feature, the power of group admin and group members will also increase.
