According to Section 67 of the Information Technology (IT) Act 2000, making, publishing, or selling sexually explicit scenes is an offense. This is a punishable offense according to section 67B of this law. The first offense can be punished with imprisonment of up to 5 years and a fine of up to ten lakhs, while the punishment for repeat can be more severe.
