Losing weight can be challenging for many people and it seems to affect women more. Well, this is not a weight loss myth. You must have seen many times that a woman and her partner start a weight loss journey together, but women lose weight at a slower pace than men. There are many reasons behind this why it is difficult for women to lose weight as compared to men. However, this does not mean that women do not lose weight at all. They should keep trying healthy weight loss methods. Let's know what is that reason.

Body design
You must be wondering why God wants women to store more fat than men. This is because women require extra fat for childbirth, hormone production as well as breastfeeding.

Women are more emotional
As you must be well aware that women are more emotional. With every ups and downs in emotion, your body goes through a cascade of hormonal changes. This makes it even more difficult to reduce fat.

Less muscle mass in women
Muscles are the active component of the body and the higher the muscle mass, the more calories can be burned. Since women have fewer muscles as compared to men, their weight loss process becomes a bit slow.
