By doing this, you can feel dull, and full of pain and tension in a few days. Apart from this, weight and fat around the waist also start increasing.

That's why today we have brought some such stretching exercises for you, which you can easily do after getting up in the morning while sitting in bed for some time. Some studies show that, like other forms of regular exercise, stretching can help you relax, increase flexibility, reduce low back pain, and manage certain other health conditions.

Every morning you get out of bed, do some stretching and start your busy day. Just giving yourself a few minutes will keep your body healthy and your mind feeling better. We got to know about these exercises after seeing the Instagram of yoga instructor Kavita Pant. She often shares fitness videos with her followers.

Bhardwaj Asana

  • To do this, sit straight.
  • Extend both the legs in front.
  • Then keep both your hands near the hips.
  • Bend the knees and bring them near your left hip.
  • The weight of the body should be on the right hip.
  • Place the inner part of the left ankle on the right thigh.
  • Take a deep breath and stretch your spine.
  • While inhaling, rotate the upper head as much as possible.
  • Place the right hand on the floor and the left hand on the right thigh.
  • Turn your head and look towards your right shoulder.
  • Stay in this position for some time.
  • While exhaling, slowly straighten your head to come back.
  • Take a deep breath and repeat this exercise with the left hip.

Seated Cat Cow Pose

  • To do this, sit on the bed.
  • Bend the legs.
  • Then place your hands on the thighs.
  • While inhaling, arch the back, open the chest and lift the chin slightly.
  • While exhaling round the back, stretch the chin towards the chest.
  • Repeat slowly.

Seated Forward Bend

  • Start by tilting the head down a bit.
  • Keeping your legs straight, inhale and lengthen through your spine.
  • As you exhale, start moving your fingers towards the feet.
  • While exhaling keeps lengthening the spine and while exhaling, bend forward in this sitting.
  • After breathing for 10 rounds, slowly raise your head back up.

Gomukhasana (Seated Cow Face Pose)

  • To do this exercise, bring the right leg on top of the left leg and sit.
  • In this, both the feet should be above the knee.
  • Then move the right hand from the side of the head to the back.
  • Now bend the left hand at the elbow.
  • Then while rotating from the side of the stomach, move it towards the back.
  • Now make a straight line by joining both the hands behind.
  • Stay in this position for some time and come back to the first position.

You can also make yourself fit and reduce weight by doing these exercises in the morning.
