  • First of all, heat 1/2 litre of water.
  • Now add one to two spoons of baking soda to this water and mix it well.

  • Leave the mixture on for about 10 minutes after spraying.
  • After 10 minutes, scrub it off with a cleaning brush.

Use vinegar

You may have noticed that sometimes the plastic on the top of the washing machine is covered with mildew stains. This is because after cleaning many times, they do not clean it well. In such a situation, apart from baking soda, you can easily remove the mildew stains on the washing machine with the help of vinegar. For this follow these steps-

  • For this, first, heat a cup of water.
  • Now add two spoons of vinegar to this water and mix it well.
  • Now pour the mixture on the stained area and leave it for some time.
  • After some time clean it with the help of a cleaning brush or toothbrush.

Use lemon and salt

Lemon juice and salt can also be the best option to clean mildew stains on the washing machine. The mixture of these two can remove the stain from the root. For this, first, prepare a mixture like a paste by mixing 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice with 2 teaspoons of salt. After this, apply this paste to the stained area and leave it for some time. Let us tell you that salt activates the crystals of the stain and lemon softens it. After some time rub it clean.

You can also use these things

Along with baking soda, vinegar, and lemon, you can get rid of mildew stains on a washing machine, among other things. For this you can also use ammonia, rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. However, you need to be careful before using them, as they are flammable.
