New Launch: Volkswagen is going to increase the prices of the Polo, Vento, and G mid-size-SUV Taigun with effect from January 1, 2022. Volkswagen has now come in the list of car manufacturers who have decided to increase the prices of their cars from January. Like other broads, Volkswagen has attributed the rise in prices to rising input and operation costs.

Depending on the model and variant, the increase in price will be in the range of 2 to 5 percent. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “Due to the increase in input and operational costs, we have decided to increase the prices of our products by 2 to 5 percent and minimize the cost burden on the customers.

Ashish Gupta said, “For many years, our endeavor has been to simplify the brand, product, and service and to make Volkswagen the brand of choice among the customers.” There are many popular models of Volkswagen in the market but now not all are available. All eyes are on the mid-size sedan, the Tigon, which is slated for launch in the Indian market in early 2022.

Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will increase the prices of its two-wheelers by up to Rs 2,000 from January 4 next year. The hike in the prices of two-wheelers will depend on the model and the market. Hero MotoCorp has informed the stock exchanges that the ex-showroom prices of two-wheelers will increase by up to Rs 2,000.

The company has said that due to rising commodity costs, it was necessary to increase the price. "Hero MotoCorp is going to increase the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters with effect from January 4, 2022," the company said in a release.
