Chili-Milli, a dish made from many vegetables, is not only amazing in taste but also full of health. So let's know how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 15 cashew nuts (soaked in hot water),
  • 3 large tomato puree,
  • 1/2 cup grated cabbage,
  • 1/2 cup carrot cut lengthwise,
  • 3/4 cup capsicum cut lengthwise,
  • 1/2 cup green peas,
  • 1/2 cup fenugreek leaves,
  • 2 tbsp oil,
  • 1 bay leaf,
  • 1 tsp cumin,
  • 2 green chilies chopped,
  • 1 onion finely chopped,
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste,
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric,
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder,
  • salt as per taste,
  • 2 tsp kasoori methi

Method :

First of all, soak cashew nuts in hot water for 20 minutes and then make a paste out of it. Also, prepare the puree of 3 tomatoes.

To make curry, heat 2 spoons of oil in a pan. Temper it with bay leaves, cumin seeds, and chopped green chilies. After this, add finely chopped onion to it and fry it till it becomes golden. As soon as the onion changes color, add ginger-garlic paste to it. If there is no paste, then both can be finely chopped and added.

After roasting for a while, fenugreek leaves and green peas will be added to them. Cook for about 1-2 minutes more.

After this add tomato puree to it.

Now it's time to mix spices in it. Mix turmeric, Kashmiri red chili, coriander, and garam masala. Cook everything for 6-7 minutes.

Now add chopped vegetables and salt to it.

Add water as per gravy requirement.

After this add cashew paste and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.

After all, put Kasoori fenugreek after crushing it on the hands. Switch off the gas. Chilli-Milli is ready to serve.
