Direction of flame
According to Vastu Shastra, the right direction is necessary while lighting the lamp. Similarly, it is also necessary to take care of the direction of the flame of the lamp.
Lamp flame in the east direction
According to Vastu, if the flame of the lamp is towards the east direction, then it means an increase in age and destruction of premature death yoga.
Lamp flame in the west direction
On the other hand, if the flame of the lamp turns or bends towards the west, then it is considered inauspicious. It shows the increasing sorrows in life.
Lamp flame in the north direction
If the flame of the lamp is seen in the north direction, then it is considered very auspicious in Vastu. This is a sign of money gain and wealth growth.
Lamp flame in the south direction
Apart from this, the presence of the flame of the lamp towards the south direction is considered very fatal. It refers to loss which can be in any form.
Which lamp for whom
- You can light a flour (Wheat Atta) lamp to fulfil auspicious work.
- Mustard oil lamps should be lit to strengthen the Sun.
- Linseed oil lamps should be lit for Rahu and Ketu.
- A lamp with three corners should be lit for Hanuman ji.
- Ghee lamp should be lit for Lord Vishnu, Shri Ganesh, Shri Krishna and Shri Ram.
You should also take care of the rules of Vastu while lighting the lamp in the evening and give the right direction to the flame of the lamp.
