Apart from this, the amount of challan has also become much higher than before. Many times our vehicle's challan is deducted due to not having the necessary documents with you, but if you have only one mobile app, then you can avoid the challan. Let's know about it...

Although no new rule has been implemented regarding this, but very few people are aware. Citing the provisions of the IT Act, the Ministry of Transport had said that now the original copies of documents like driving licenses, registration certificates, and insurance papers should not be taken for verification.

The ministry had said that the electronic copy of the document present on DigiLocker and mParivahan app will be considered valid. The central government had given instructions in this regard to the transport departments and traffic police of the states and said that they should not take the original copy of the documents for verification. In such a situation, now the traffic police can extract the information of the driver or transport from their database through a QR code from the mobile they have and can also keep a record of the driver violating traffic rules.

To take advantage of this facility, you have to first download DigiLocker and mParivahan app on your smartphone. After this, you have to enter your mobile number to sign up. Then an OTP will come on your mobile. Enter that OTP and verify it. In the second step, you have to set your username and password to log in.

After this, your DigiLocker account will be created. Now verify your Aadhaar number in it. An OTP will come on your mobile number registered in the Aadhaar database. After entering that OTP, the process of authenticating Aadhaar will be completed.

After this, your DigiLocker account will be created. Now verify your Aadhaar number in it. Now you can download a copy of RC, license, and insurance from DigiLocker and show it to the police. The mParivahan app contains information like the name of the vehicle owner, registration date, model number, insurance validity, etc. In such a situation, you will not need to carry any kind of documents with you.
