The scheme was started for these people
If we talk about Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, then this scheme was started especially for those people who work in unorganized sectors. In such a situation, if PF is deducted from your salary or you avail the benefit of ESIC, then you cannot join this scheme.
On the other hand, if your age is between 18 to 40 years, if you are a construction worker, domestic worker, street vendor, migrant laborer, agricultural laborer or your monthly income is less than Rs 15 thousand, etc. So in such a situation, you are considered eligible to apply for this scheme.
